Not only air defense: the government told how to protect the power facilities from Russian strikes (video)

According to Viceremier Kubrakov, all objects can be completely protected by the third level of protection. It is about building new substations immersed in ground. Such structures have already begun, but additional funding is required. Protecting large energy objects as TPPs can only be intensified by air defense. This was stated by Viceremier for Recovery - Minister of Community, Territories and Infrastructure Development Alexander Kubrakov on the air of a telecommunication.

According to him, electrical substations in a number of regions that suffer the most from Russian shelling can withstand the hostile attacks of "Shahaneda" due to the second level of protection. "A few of our main areas that are now attacking almost every day they now feed on transformers that are protected by the second level In the future, they will withstand the Shahaneda - from what they were designed for, "Viceremier said.

Kubrakov stressed that it is possible to fully protect the energy objects with only a third level of protection. It involves the construction of new substations immersed in ground. "This is a much more difficult story, long-term. We have done it together with the General Staff. Military engineers have developed this design. Four partner countries sent their military engineers and from the very beginning participated in the development of the United States, Germany and Japan" , - he said.

Kubrakov noted that the test of such protection has now been completed and it fully confirms that such structures can protect against missiles of any type. The erection of these structures began, but to completely complete the necessary additional funding. "I hope that we will find extra money in the budget, or our partners will support us, as well as 22 key substations will be protected by the third level of protection," Viceremier said.
