"Tomahawk" for Ukraine: when the Armed Forces will receive long -range missiles and what will become the first target in the Russian Federation

To spread: The United States can pass to Ukraine wing missiles Tomahawk for blows deep into Russia. But experts call into question whether the missiles and platforms will be able to deliver themselves to launch them on the front. The focus dismantles the technical, logistics and political barriers of supply, and which objects in the Russian Federation will be the first goals.

The US President Special Special Supporter Cit Kelloggus said the White House and Donald Trump were not object to the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces for purposes deep into the Russian Federation. In an interview with Fox News, he noted that Ukraine is entitled to such attacks, referring to the words of Vice -President Jay Die Vens and the Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Kelloga stressed that there were no "shelters" for the enemy, but did not specify whether the strikes of American weapons were concerned. He also confirmed that the US is considering providing Tomahawk missiles at the request of Vladimir Zelensky. Earlier, Vance stated that this decision on Trump and the Russian Federation avoided negotiations to end the war. The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow is analyzing the possible transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

He noted that Russia wants to find out who will manage and run these missiles. Peskov believes that such deliveries will not affect the situation on the front. Military expert Pavel Narozhny notes that Tomahawk's winged rocket is a ruling rocket developed in the 1980s in the United States. According to the expert, it is a rather large rocket weighing about 1. 5 tons, of which 450 kg falls on a warhead, and the rest - the engine, fuel and navigation systems.

Its flight range reaches 1600 km, which makes it an effective weapon for long distances. Although the platform is considered relatively old, it has repeatedly modernized, which allowed it to remain relevant in modern conditions. The main trigger platforms for Tomahawk missiles are submarines and excess ships. Previously, there were ground launchers, but they were liquidated.

For the US army, this rocket is convenient because it allows you to strike from the sea, approaching the goals at a safe distance. For example, a submarine may float and strike, beyond the reach of most air defense. "However, the use of such platforms in the Black Sea is problematic because any ship can be a target for Russian forces. It is only a matter of time," says focus the Narozhny.

The head of the security programs of the Center for Globalism "XXI" Pavel Lakichuk claims that there are almost no terrestrial Tomahawk launchers in the United States. "So first of all we need to say whether we can get the NMRC of Typhon, because without it rockets-iron. By the way, Typhon is a PU for Standard SM-6 that can knock down ballistics," the expert says. Military expert and journalist Denis Popovich said that Typhon is quite a rare installation.

"It appeared in single copies of literally last year. Therefore, I do not believe that Tomahawki will get to us. The main platform of launching Tomahawk is currently marine. Destinci and submarines, of course, the United States, the United States also does not plan to pass," says Focus. According to the Zarny, the US is currently developing a new Typhon complex, which, according to the expert, is a large truck with a container to launch several Tomahawk missiles.

Such a system allows launches from anywhere on land, which is a significant advantage for countries that do not have a powerful fleet. For example, in Ukraine a truck could leave, say, in Transcarpathia, from where the rocket is able to fly to the purposes in Russia. So far, the Typhon complex is under development, and the supply of such systems to Ukraine or other countries has not yet been carried out.

The customer is Germany, but the people assume that theoretically these complexes can be transferred to Ukraine in the future. "It is not about this yet, but the probability is not exactly zero. Even if the negotiations on supply have begun, the implementation of such a decision is not the next months," the expert adds. On the likelihood of transfer to Ukraine, Tomahawk missiles expresses careful optimism.

He notes that it is difficult to give an accurate assessment, but the very fact of starting discussions about possible supply is a positive sign. The cost of one rocket is about $ 4 million, but in the US arsenal there is a significant amount - theoretically, Ukraine can transfer dozens or even hundreds of units. At the same time, according to standard practice, the United States pass on older weapons, leaving the latest models.

The expert emphasizes that the supply of Tomahawk missiles or Typhon complexes will depend on the political decisions and strategic priorities of Western partners. There are currently no specific arrangements, but the mere discussion of such opportunities indicates a change in approaches to Ukraine support. The Narozhny emphasizes that "tomahawki" is ideal for the task of strikes on the key facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex, such as missile and weapons.

In addition, rockets can be used for attacks on economically important facilities, including oil refineries, oil export terminals, gas transportation infrastructure and seaports. Such blows can significantly weaken Russia's economy and influence its ability to wage war. "This is the main focus in which we could use winged missiles, including those produced in Ukraine.

The task of infrastructure, which provides the Russian army and economy, can accelerate the depletion of Russia's resources, which is key in the war for exhaustion," the expert sums up. We will remind, the Ukrainian winged rocket R-360 "Long Neptune" became a breakthrough in military technologies. With a range of up to 1000 km, it is able to affect marine and land goals.
