Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Friedrich Mertz discussed details of work on steps to end the war

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi had a telephone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Mertz. The head of state noted that Germany has been helping Ukraine a lot since the beginning of the full-scale war – militarily, financially and politically. The President thanked for the fact that Ukraine can always count on German leadership and support. Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared fresh details of the work on steps to end the war.

The head of state emphasized that it is important that all partners are informed. The President informed that yesterday the Ukrainian team returned from Geneva, provided a full report and an updated framework document. According to the Head of State, communication with the American side continues. Volodymyr Zelensky thanked for all the efforts of the USA and President Donald Trump personally. The leaders discussed the development of the situation and coordinated the next steps.
