Anti-aircraft systems are originally intended for installation on the ship, the main purpose is the destruction of air targets at a range up to 4-5 km. The installation is controlled remotely through the MR-123 artillery fire system, including a radar station, a television module and a collimator column for backup. In addition, a powerful power supply is required for the system, but obviously the enemy has solved these technical nuances and processed AK-630 into a land option.

Meanwhile, it is unclear how the Russian military managed to adapt the AK-630 for land use. Questions are raised both technical integration of the management system and the accuracy of firing, as KAMAZ does not provide a stable platform. Taking into account the high speed of the AK-630 (4000-5000 shots per minute) and the ammunition in 2000 shells, a powerful return can seriously affect the accuracy of firing.

It was also noted that in this case it is not a matter of the system in the spirit of "no analogues", since such experiments were conducted outside Russia. For example, Yemen's government troops installed the GS-6-30K anti-aircraft gun on the BTR-152 armored personnel carrier, but there is no reliable data on the performance of this option.
