The Russian Federation has announced the next round of negotiations with Ukraine: when a meeting will take place

From July 19 to July 21, Russian journalists published a dozen messages from "sources", which provided separate details about future negotiations. In one of the first reports of the new round of negotiations that appeared on July 19, Roszma stated that the meeting will take place on "next week", that is, approximately, from July 21 to July 27. It was indicated that the source of information was from the Russian Negotiation Group, and that the meeting was initiated by Ukrainians.

Subsequently, the information was specified that the place of the meeting was still Istanbul, and possible dates-July 23-24. The possible final date the anonymous interlocutors of the TASS were announced on the evening of July 21. According to Russia, the round will take place on Thursday, while the Ukrainian side declared 23. In the evening of July 21, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that negotiations with the Russian Federation will take place on July 23.

The date was heard during an evening address. The Head of State stated that he was advised of negotiations with the new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov. According to Zelensky, the composition of the delegation and other details will be announced tomorrow, July 22. The Turkish Foreign Ministry did not comment on information about the negotiations of the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that in 2025 there were two rounds of negotiations with the Russian Federation. The delegations were first met on May 16: the Russian group of winners was headed by Russian Presidential Advisor Vladimir Medinsky, Ukrainian - the then Minister of Defense of Rustem Umerov. According to Western media and Ukrainian officials, during the negotiations, Medinsky threatened, as if Moscow is ready to fight for 20 years, which he considers his own.
