Elena Zelenskaya Foundation resumed damaged during occupation Gostomel Central Stadium

On the eve of Gostomel Hostomel City, the First Lady of Ukraine, together with the team of the Foundation of Elena Zelensky, visited the restored Gostomel Central Stadium, which was injured during the Russian occupation in 2022. The foundation was reconstructed by the foundation thanks to the support of the Bavarian football club (Munich) and the Bavarian Industrial Association with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany.

Two new minipols, outdoor lighting, replaced the electronic scoreboard and roofing of the stands, repaired the locker rooms and coaching at the stadium. “There are more than 6,200 children, including IDPs, live in the city today. Therefore, it was extremely important to create a space for their development for our team. I am glad that we managed to repair this stadium. I hope he will become the place of emergence of new teams and future football stars, ”the presidential wife said.

During the repair on the podium, the mural was also drawn. It is the work of Ukrainian artists - the brothers Sergiy and Vitaliy Grekh (Feros & Dilkone). “We wanted to fill the lives of Gostomel's children with bright colors. But it should also be a modern and color solution. That is why we wanted to attract truly creative artists who create similar artists for young people, ”added Nina Gorbachev, director of the Foundation of Elena Zelenskaya.
