Life sentence: In Donetsk, the Armed Forces soldiers for the "murder" of Mariupol were sentenced

Ukrainian servicemen who kept defense at the Illich plant were accused of two articles - murder and ill -treatment of civilian populations in the occupied territory. The Supreme Court of the occupied part of the Donetsk region sentenced the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces to life imprisonment on charges of killing civilians in March 2022. The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia reports.

According to the prosecution, four soldiers - Yevgeny Yakubenko, Dmitry Latyshev, Vladimir Kucherenko and Sergey Balytsky, being in the territory of the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant. In addition, another serviceman of the Armed Forces-the 25-year-old driver of the 36th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Denis Rashpl was convicted of the occupied Donbass. He allegedly from February 28 to April 9, 2022, being in combat positions located on the territory of the enterprise "Azovzagalmash" in Mariupol, performed criminal orders of commanders and shot 25 citizens from the machine. "As a result, 16 of them were killed, others managed to escape.
