Civilians were shot in Pokrovsk: the GUR released evidence of crimes committed by the Russian Armed Forces (video)

Share: Russian occupiers purposefully opened fire on civilians trying to leave Pokrovsk. This was stated by the volunteer Denys Hristov, who released a video with a radio intercept, where Russian soldiers discuss orders to shoot civilians with large bags. On his Instagram page, the volunteer published a video in which he told about yet another lie of Russian propaganda regarding the shelling of Pokrovsk.

In his post, Denys Hristov quotes Russian media and militants who claimed that their spies allegedly helped civilians leave the city because, according to the Russians, they were used by the Ukrainian military as human shields. The reports said that "return evacuations" were allegedly carried out during the year, when civilians were brought to hot spots, and the Ukrainian military kept them there by force.

Russian sources also claimed significant civilian casualties — only four of the 22 people survived, and some of the 51st Army soldiers who tried to rescue them also allegedly died. In addition, he noted that the Ukrainian military received radio interception from exactly that section of the road where the shelling was taking place. In the recording, which the man made public in the video, the Russian military gave clear instructions not to let anyone pass on the road.

One of them ordered to open fire on civilians who came out with large bags. Hristov explained that after that it became clear why the people leaving Pokrovsk were without their belongings on the video. The volunteer suggested that such a "gradation" of civilians may be related to the desire of the occupiers to prevent the removal of property from the city. "Perhaps they are afraid that people will take away a lot of things and they will have nothing left.

Don't worry, you can still loot and loot there. There are so many Ukrainian humanitarian workers there that you will have enough for half a year," he added sarcastically. In the video, Hristov also accused Russian units of systematic destruction of the civilian population during the assaults. According to him, if the Russian authorities had honestly reported the number of civilians killed, even supporters of "Russian peace" would have understood what such a "liberation" meant.

"If people knew exactly how your release goes, they wouldn't wait for evacuation - they would leave right away. And then we wouldn't have those who are called Zhduns. Even the most ardent supporters of the sovka would have left those territories a long time ago," Hristov said. At the end, the volunteer turned to the Ukrainian military, who are holding the defense in the Pokrovsky direction.

"Guys, if you manage to find a military man with the callsign 'Artist' who also stutters, you know what to do with him," Hristov said. It is worth noting that this audio recording was also made public by the Main Directorate of Intelligence. According to the agency, in the intercepted conversation, orders to open fire on civilians leaving the city with large bags can be heard.

GUR informs that the command was given by a soldier from the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade, which, according to intelligence, is in the vicinity of Pokrovsk. The department qualified this case as another evidence of war crimes and reminded that responsibility for such actions is inevitable. We will remind that on October 21, volunteer Denys Hristov published new evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsky area of Donetsk region.
