According to Minister Mariusz Blaschak, the first defensive structures have already begun to build on the border with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation. Poland has decided to strengthen security measures at the border with Belarus and Russia. The first fortifications are already being built on the border with the Kaliningrad region. This was announced by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaschak.

"We have started a preventive expansion of security measures at the border with Russia and Belarus. This is part of our strategy for protection and restraint," he wrote. According to the Minister of Defense of Poland, the first fortifications are already built on the border with the Kaliningrad region. The electronic system on this site should cover almost 200 km of land border, the Poland's border service reported.

Thanks to the system of sensors and cameras, border guards will be able to monitor the border around the clock, regardless of weather conditions. There will be no need to be directly on the border line. The algorithms are designed so that the border guard can only respond to real attempts to cross the line by people. Poland unilaterally announced the closure of the work of Kukuriki checkpoint on February 21, which was the only current item for freight transport on the border with Belarus.
