A bold action: China's army landed a landing from the sea on the islands 30 km from Taiwan

To spread: the Chinese People's Liberation Army (NVAK) conducted large-scale training on the landing of the landing from the sea on the southern coast of the province of Fuziang-in the immediate vicinity of Taiwan-controlled islands Jinmen. This was reported on May 21 by South China Morning Post, citing official sources. The 73rd Army Group of Land Forces of the NVAK, struck in the city of Xiamin, was attended by the 73rd Army Group, 30 km from the Taiwan Armed Forces Control area.

The units worked out the actions of the coastal assault: traffic along the coast, overcoming and bypassing barriers, landing ashore. The main shock technique was the Amphibian Fighting Machines of the ZBD-2000 infantry. These machines are capable of developing up to 40 km/h on the water and carrying heavy equipment, including a reinforced landing.

The training was held in specially prepared areas with imitation of the coastline, which corresponds to the standard scheme of preparation for a potential landing operation. The development of such scenarios occurs on the background of exacerbation of relations between Beijing and Taipei. It is noteworthy that the landing rehearsal coincided with the first anniversary of the President of the Chinese Republic of Lai Pinde.

In his festive speech, he confirmed the course to strengthen Taiwan's defense and maintain de facto independence. Taiwan military personnel also responded to training. In a comment to SCMP, one of them stated that they were ready for defense at any time. "We are ready for war in any second," said a soldier named Tyan Bo. "Our training has become more practical . . . We believe that when the day comes, we will not have problems with reacting, fighting and winning," another serviceman says.

Jinmen is an archipelago and a large island of the same name, located literally near the shores of mainland China, but remains under the control of Taiwan. It remains one of the key support points of Taiwan in the event of a possible military operation by the PRC. In general, the islands play the role of the most powerful fortified area. Despite the opening of some military facilities for tourists, they all continue to remain active.
