However, they did not want to switch to the Russian Yandex, continuing to use the usual service. The Director of Moyofys Eugene Fenyushin, with whom the media people also talked, confirmed that it was more convenient for businessmen to use US Google services than their domestic Yandex.

This has not even prevented the doctrine about import substitution, which has been adhered to in Russia lately in connection with rigid sanctions. For his part, another anonymous interlocutor of the publication stated that Google not only blocked Workspace for companies that came under sanctions, but also did it without warning. It should be noted that the official explanation of the blocking that Google provided is spam messages that allegedly came from Russian business companies.
