The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed Trypillian TPP: Nayem replied if it could be protected

The head of the State Agency for the restoration and development of infrastructure stressed that the destroyed power plant was a "very large object". However, he acknowledged that Ukraine lacks funds for the third level of protection. The head of the State Agency for Recovery and Development of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem answered whether it was possible to protect from the destruction of Trypillian TPP. This is known from its column for NV, published on April 12.

Nayem said that the State Agency is responsible for the protection of only parts of the power facilities of the distribution network - 22 Ukrenergo substations. These objects provide the second and third levels of protection - from UAVs and missiles. The expert stressed that the projected documentation was agreed in the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the SES and the company itself. "And during the latest mass shelling, some of them were hit.

But the protective structures we consolidated showed their efficiency - all the equipment protected by our structures survived," - said Nayem. However, according to him, the third level of protection is underfunded. "If we want to preserve what is left, we need the state to allocate funds for it," the head emphasized. According to LIGA. Business, the agency was not involved in the protection of Centrenergo objects, including the destroyed Trypillian TPP.

However, Nayem assured that it could only be preserved from destruction thanks to air defense. "Trypillya TPP is a very large object, protecting it only with protective engineering structures without the use of appropriate air defense equipment, I think it is impossible," he explained. We will remind, one of the employees of Trypillian TPP told that the residents of Ukrainka are worried about the loss of work.
