Attacks on Russian refinery: a military expert told how it would affect the situation on the front

According to the military expert David Gendelman, the blows to the oil refining enterprises of Russia will have a negative impact on the economy, which in the future can affect the situation at the front. Unmanned aerial vehicles from Ukraine carry out attacks on oil refineries in Russia. These strokes continue, posing a serious threat to Russian objects. The Kremlin faces difficulties in the full protection of its refinery.

This was stated by a military expert from Israel David Hendelman in a comment on Channel 24. According to him, current attacks on oil refineries in Russia are a direct economic blow. He also warned the possible consequences for the situation at the front, noting that in the event of effective blows to such enterprises of the enemy, it can affect the general situation. David Gendelman stressed that these blows are primarily aimed at the economic undermination of the invaders.

At the same time, he stressed that this would not affect the situation on the battlefield too quickly, since the Russian army does not depend on petroleum products from these plants, and has its own reserves of fuel. "It all depends on how long and with what efficiency this air campaign will continue. If so it goes on, sooner or later it can influence the battlefield," he stressed.

In any case, economic damage for Russia becomes a significant advantage for Ukraine during hostilities, even if it does not affect the situation on the front in the near future. It should be reminded that in general the UAV of the SBU has recently been successfully attacked by 12 oil refineries of Russia. The Slavic Refinery became another oil plant, which was attacked by Ukrainian drones in a week.
