"We are on Putin's Sight": The West has 5 years to prepare for defense - German General

According to the General Bundesver Bundesver Brocher, the current military situation in Ukraine does not allow to talk about the "freezing" of the conflict. In this case, Moscow can prepare a new aggression against NATO countries. The event can only be a few years to prepare for war with Russia. Moscow will be ready to attack in the near future. This was stated by the General Inspector of the Bundesver Karsten Broker in an interview with Funke Mediengrupope.

According to him, it is impossible to think that the war in Ukraine will be "frozen", because there are no prerequisites for this. The ceasefire must be approved by two parties, but now it is hardly possible. In addition, almost always frozen conflicts in the future are renewed with special intensity. "The current military situation in Ukraine makes the freezing of war either possible or desirable," Karsten Broker said.

Separately, the German General said that the threat of Russia for the European continent is increasing every day. In particular, it is NATO. Accordingly, Karsten Broker estimate is just over five years in order to fully prepare for the Kremlin's aggression. You need to do everything to protect yourself from possible air rates. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin does not even hide his plans to the West.

That is, the attack of Moscow on one of NATO countries, says the German general, just a matter of time. These can be both cyberattacks and drones with rockets. "We see that Russia will be able to wage a war against NATO countries in five to eight years. By that time we in Germany should also be able to reflect such an attack. This means that we have five years to prepare for preparation for Defense… We are at the sight of Putin, ”Karsten broiler summed up.
