Borsch Russian: the Japanese did not allow Yevgeny Klopotenko to open a restaurant in them

Yevgeny Klopotenko noted that it is a sign to promote Ukrainian cuisine even more. In Japan, the Ukrainian chef Yevgeny Klopotenko was denied in the opening of the restaurant, because borsch was offered on his menu. The cook announced this on the Instagram table. In particular, Yevgeny Klopotenko noted that negotiations on the opening of the Ukrainian institution, but the attempt was unsuccessful.

All therefore, the restaurant included Ukrainian borscht, which the Japanese are considered a Russian dish. Such arguments about the refusal came in an official letter to the cook. "In Japan, it is very common that borscht is a Russian dish. Therefore, a bad attitude towards Russia does not make a good impression of borscht. Other menu points are not familiar to the Japanese," Klopotenko received such an answer. The chef noted that this fact did not offend him, and as a result, "some fool" came out.

According to Klopotenko, conscious Japanese, fortunately, are historically Russophobes. And this is a great example of the depth of Russian propaganda," the cook wrote.

Yevgeny Klopotenko noted that this situation in no way reduces the scale of their efforts with the team, but from this situation he concluded that it is necessary to work even more often on the popularization of Ukrainian thought and Ukrainian cuisine in the world. "Of course, this is a single case, because the level of support of Ukraine in Japan is simply incredible," Klopotenko summarized.
