According to him, various statements from the Russians and Western analysts did not scare people in the eastern Ukrainian city. They do not leave Kharkiv and stay there, despite constant threats and shelling. "First of all, I want to say that this should comment on the military. But as for such plans of the enemy, I want to remind that from the very beginning of the war the Russians tried to capture Kharkiv and all Ukraine, but these plans could not be implemented.

I am sure of that, that that our military is prepared that they will withstand all these attacks of the aggressor and necessarily defend the city of Kharkiv and Ukraine, " - said Igor Terekhov. Separately, the mayor of Kharkiv added that on the eve of the holidays, some people really went to other cities, but now they are back home. Accordingly, Moscow failed to intimidate the population.
