Although the Russian Federation attracts significant forces and resources in Ukraine, Western special services are increasingly concerned about possible escalation. According to the sources of the publication, the Federal Government of Germany circulates the analysis of German special services, according to which Russia is preparing for war by one of NATO countries.
Russia is growing weapons production, redeploying troops, and reorganizing the Russian army. All this can indicate the preparation of the Kremlin for the war with NATO. "You can no longer exclude" that the Russian Federation will attack at least one part of the Nativ territory. Intelligence estimates may be from 2026. A potential attack can take place on Finland or one of the Baltic countries. German intelligence services did not make such statements in public.
It is also argued that other Alliance countries are shared by the growth of the Russian Federation and potential further confrontation. However, this will not necessarily lead to war. Because American intelligence sees no danger in the medium term of Russian attack on NATO. The Russian armies will take between five to eight years to recover to the level they had before the full -scale invasion of Ukraine.
