Mobilization in Ukraine: Which of the men won't call the army

The legislation stipulates that several categories of conscripted citizens are entitled to defer from mobilization. It is a matter of unfit for military service and citizens who have their own raising a child. Some categories of conscripts may not call the army during general mobilization in Ukraine. This issue is governed by Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization".

This is not subject to conscription during mobilization: recall that higher education and vocational education applicants can get a deferral from mobilization. However, there are periods when citizens lose the possibility of delay from mobilization during an introductory campaign. There are also certain features for those who receive a second or third higher education and study in absentia.
