Part of Kyiv was left without hot water as a result of Russian shelling: in which areas was the water supply cut off

Share: As a result of nighttime shelling, some residential buildings in Kyiv were temporarily left without hot water. The service was suspended due to damage to the city's critical infrastructure. According to the KMDA, as a result of hostile attacks on the capital's infrastructure facilities, the technological process of the equipment providing centralized hot water supply was partially disrupted.

This led to the temporary disconnection of hot water in a number of districts of Kyiv, in particular in Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnyanskyi, Pecherskyi, Podilskyi, Svyatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi. Specialists of the "Kyivteploenergo" enterprise, together with city services, have already started work on the restoration of hot water supply. The city administration calls on the citizens of Kyiv to understand temporary inconveniences and to observe safety rules during emergency situations.

In addition, according to Ukrenergo, due to a massive missile and drone attack, emergency power cuts were introduced in most regions of Ukraine. Supply will be restored where safety allows, and after stabilization of the energy system, the outage will be canceled. Follow the messages of the regional energy authority in your region and use electricity sparingly.

On the night of October 22, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with attack drones and ballistic missiles, striking critical infrastructure and causing power outages in the regions. In Kyiv, the anti-aircraft defense system worked, but a fire broke out in the Holosiiv district after one of the explosions. According to preliminary data, more than 20 people were injured in the capital, two people died. In Troeshchyna, the explosion damaged a residential building and about 40-50 cars.
