Tymochko characterized the attempt to capture Pokrovsk by Russian troops as a political decision of Vladimir Putin, which, in his opinion, will be implemented despite human losses.

"Russia has placed such a bet on the occupation of Pokrovsk and Mirnograd that they will simply fill the city with corpses. They will gnaw. Putin gave them the command, this is his political decision. They will drive the entire army there and raze everything to the ground, dig it up, dig it up," Tymochko emphasized. According to him, for the implementation of this task, the enemy has attracted significant forces, in particular the marines, which indicates the seriousness of Moscow's intentions.

Tymochko also drew historical parallels with the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-1493, pointing out that excessive concentration in one direction can have strategic consequences for the attacker. Thus, in the worst-case scenario, there is no reason to believe that the units of the Defense Forces protecting the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration will not be able to withdraw.
