"Putin is afraid": Zelensky explained how Kellog's arrival influenced Russian shelling (video)

To spread: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Russia avoids active shelling of the territory of Ukraine during the stay of US representatives there. According to him, the Russian Federation is afraid of reaction from the US side. During an interview with Newsmax, Volodymyr Zelensky gave an example with General Kellog Kellog's stay in Ukraine and explained how it affected the shelling of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

"General Kellogo arrived in Ukraine, and for two nights there was no massive bombardment. This is a very interesting example. There was no strong attacks that night and the previous night," the President said. According to him, the presence of Americans restrains aggressive actions by the Russian Federation. "Putin will try to intimidate, blackmail and create tension, but he does not go to full escalation," he said, adding that Ukrainians are even ironic about it.

"It is said that it is necessary to give General Kelloga a Ukrainian passport and leave it here, and that Americans would come to us more often, because then Russia will be less bombing," Zelensky added. He also emphasized: "This means one thing: Putin is afraid of America. I said it all this time, and I also spoke to the President. In any case, Putin is afraid of America and I'm sure. Zelensky during an interview, in particular, claimed that Trump would end the war.

"President Biden was not able to finish this war, but I am sure that President Trump will be able to do so. " We will remind, on July 14 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Kit Kellog. As it became known from the official page of the Head of State on Telegram, a productive conversation took place with the American general. The main topics were the ways of reaching peace and specific steps that Ukraine and the US can take together to approach it.
