Then the closest assistant to German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz, the head of the Office Wolfgang Schmidt allegedly approved the proposal of American analyst Samuel Carap to end the war in Ukraine through the settlement during negotiations with Moscow. Makeev added that the pressure behind the closed doors "was also not happening".
