Despite the wounds, the toe Levkovets promised to continue to develop devices that will help the military to find drones even in the conditions of HR. The developer of unique gadgets to Bazhen Levkovitz has created a search GPS weapon to determine the location of drones in areas where there is no mobile coverage, reports the portal dev. ua. The engineer participated in the Damo Day exhibition.

According to the developer, beacons are very important in the conditions of dense operation of radar struggle, when drones often lose their connection with the operator and need to be found. The beacon consists of a GPS module (L1 range), STM32 microcontroller and LORA radio module at 433 MHz.

The device from a lithium-polymer battery per 1000 mAh is powered by one charge for four days, and it is charged with a USB Type-C connector. The beacon is essentially an additional module to the drone and has no housing, using a heat -shaking tube instead. The module makes it possible to find a drone with search light signals, a piezoelectric jerk that makes sounds, or by GPS coordinates.

Due to the peculiarities of the Earth's circle, the beacon can act at a distance of up to one kilometer, but if you attach relay, for example, on a high mast or use other drones as a relay, the distance will increase to 20 kilometers. An important feature of the system is to be able to work with nine beacons from one remote. During radio exchange, information from beacons is stored in RAM. For each beacon, 9 memory cells are given, which stores up to 9 last points.

Another important feature in these radios is the protection against HR. The Lora protocol was specially created for work in obstacles. And although it is a slow protocol that does not allow you to transmit a video signal, it allows you to receive a radio signal of transmitters even in the conditions of work of the IU.
