The US has developed an alternative to supply missiles for air defense Ukraine-Major General of SBU (video)

In the case of a critical situation, Ukraine will receive the necessary weapons, but it may be fewer missiles to the appropriate systems than now, as the former deputy chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Yunun believes. In September 2023, when the weapons supply to Ukraine deteriorated, the United States developed several schemes for possible replacement of missiles from US warehouses and enterprises.

The details were reported on the air of the TV channel "Direct" Major General of the SBU Victor Yang, former Deputy Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine. He said that with Japan there was an agreement on such supply. The country is licensed to produce appropriate missiles. In his opinion, in the case of a critical situation, given this mechanism, Ukraine will receive the necessary weapons. "Maybe not in the amount they need, but they will be with us," Yugan explained.

The former deputy chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine called the supply of weapons a serious issue. He remembered the experience of Israel when, during an attack on the country of terrorist group Hamas, there was not enough missiles to the air defense systems. "The exhaustion of the air defense systems is a very problematic thing. I hope that both our power and our allies will realize that this day is critical of us," Victor Yanun added.

On March 16, the British newspaper The Telegraph reported that Ukraine was faced with a serious ammunition crisis, and missiles for the air defense system may end by the end of the month. In a number of publications, experts have expressed anxiety that Ukrainians lose their ability to protect themselves from rocket strokes and attacks of Russian invaders, as those that occurred on Friday, March 15, in Odessa, where 20 people were killed.
