Preparation for the war with the PRC: Taiwan created its analogues of Ukrainian sea drones (video)

To extend: Against the backdrop of the increase in the likelihood of Chinese Taiwan invasion, it increases attention to the means of counteracting the sea landing, studying Ukraine's experience in the use of shock marine drones in the Black Sea. Taiwanese experts have developed several models of non -trapped boats. The island state actively develops its own analogues of Ukrainian marine drones, capable of performing both intelligence and striking tasks. About it reports the Naval News portal.

The observers say that the first SEA Shark 400 model was presented in 2023, but then the development of the program slowed down. However, Taiwan has shown several new samples recently, including Kuaiqi, Endeavur Manta, SEA Shark 800 and Piranha 9. Kuaiqi Kuaiqi is a high -speed drone (BEC), which is intended for a breakdown. The drone is able to develop speeds up to 43 knots (about 80 km/h) and is equipped with KYMETA satellite antenna for stable management in long distances.

The apparatus can carry the combat part to perform Kamikadze -type attacks and launch Jing Feng Bargage Ammunition. ENDEAVOR MANTA is a large sea drone with a futuristic design, built according to the three -Maran scheme. The length is 8. 6 m, the width is 3. 7 m. The apparatus can act in both unmanned and manned mode, which increases the flexibility of its use. The large deck and body of Endeavur Manta provide stability at high speed and the ability to install additional weapons or sensory systems.

Sea Shark 800 This backing is an increased and upgraded version of Sea Shark 400, which is probably equipped with a shock combat unit. The engines are hidden under a protective casing to reduce the vulnerability of the enemy. The design is designed for increased survivability, and improved hydrodynamic envelopes of the body make it possible to work in difficult weather conditions. Piranha 9 is another solution of Taiwanese engineers Piranha 9.

Unlike most small sea drones, Piranha 9 has a considerable body height, so the use of inconspicuous technologies is really justified here. The drone can act as a scout as well as a shock platform. Earlier, Naval News reported that at the Madex 2025 Defense Exhibition, South Korean developers from ADD presented an experimental supersonal torpedo designed for use with new generation marine drones.
