"Russia has set new weekly and monthly records of the size of the occupied territory in Ukraine," Reuters writes with reference to the report of an independent Russian news group "Agency". Russian military bloggers say that if Russia is able to pierce Ukrainian defense around Kurakhov, it will be able to move west towards the city of Zaporozhye, protecting the rear to make a turn to Pokrovsk.
