"Subed for the regime": Lukashenko is not ready to go into the war against Ukraine, - Gur

Ukrainian intelligence representative Andriy Yusov noted that Belarus helps the Russian Federation with weapons, equipment and ammunition. However, the Belarusian military is not interested in attacking Ukraine. Oleksandr Lukashenko is not ready to join a full -scale war against Ukraine. This solution would be suicide for its regime. This was stated by a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov on the air of Freedom.

However, he noted that Belarus provides assistance from weapons, equipment and ammunition for the Russian army. "Concerning full -scale participation in the ground operation: we do not see the readiness of Lukashenko's regime to go to this step, but the help of another nature - weapons, equipment, heavy equipment and ammunition - yes, the dictator is ready and provides such assistance," Yusov said.

The intelligence representative noted that Oleksandr Lukashenko is also ready to provide the territory of Belarus as a landfill for the training of mobilized Russians and their further departure to the front in Ukraine. Andriy Yusov believes that one of the reasons for the refusal of Minsk to participate in the war against Ukraine is the unwillingness of the Belarusian military, who, if such a decision is made, intends to be massively captured by the Armed Forces.

"It would be suicide - political and defensive. If it happened, it would be much worse in such a scenario of Lukashenko's regime than it is now," he said. According to him, the head of Belarus understands this, so it is limited to loud statements, conducts maneuvers and rattles weapons. We will remind, on December 20 the commander of the united forces of the Armed Forces Sergey Naev stated that the level of military threat from Belarus was increasing.
