"On December 5 and 6, 2023, the Defense Policy Council will receive secret briefings concerning the US Defense Ministry's policy on Russia until 2050," the publication reads. It is reported that the meetings of the department will be dedicated to "collection, analysis and evaluation of secret information". As a result, practical recommendations on strategic planning and implementation of a defense strategy at global and regional levels should be developed.
Moreover, the participants of the meetings will discuss the existing confidential data on the actions of Russian troops in the war in Ukraine. Recall that, according to Newsweek, the Russian Federation has a significant arsenal of weapons of mass destruction. And against the background of the threat from the PRC, the potential struggle for power in the Kremlin can create a number of new Washington problems.
