According to Russian operatives, on December 25 there was a fighting when attempting to penetrate DRG into the Bryansk region from Ukraine. "Four saboteurs were destroyed who made an attempt to penetrate the territory of the Bryansk region," the center noted. The saboteurs had foreign weapons-German Sig Sauer and cartridge guns, communication and navigation devices and 4 homemade explosive devices with a capacity of about 40 kilograms in TNT, the FSB says.
The Bryansk region borders with Sumy and Chernihiv regions of Ukraine. In October, Russian President Vladimir Putin introduced an average level of terrorist threat in this field.
