Thanks to the actions of the Ukrainian troops, much of the hostile forces, which planned to transfer to the direction of Pokrovsk, was recorded and forced to return.

The successful implementation of the Kursk operation, which previously delayed about 63 thousand Russian military, and given the Union forces - about 70 thousand, made it possible to weaken the pressure of the enemy in other directions and regroup Ukrainian troops. As a result, the announcement of Pokrovsk in September 2024 has not yet taken place. At the same time, when asked about the threat of seizure of amounts, Sirsky confirmed that such intentions on the part of the Russian command exist.

In this regard, intensive work on the arrangement of defense borders, the construction of engineering structures and the installation of antitrone systems, with Sumy and Sumy region, are in priority of these measures in all potentially dangerous areas of the front.
