However, US officials still do not call the current actions of the Armed Forces major efforts. CNN quoted two US officials who stated that the Armed Forces had transferred the "major part of" their reserve forces to the south to develop recent successes.

According to the representative of the UK Ministry of Defense James Gippi, the Ukrainian forces show "proper caution" and at the same time meet current expectations. ISW analysts note that the defense forces continued the offensive actions in the border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions on July 27 and achieved some promotion. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has published staff shot in the liberated Staromaorsky (9 km from the Great Novosilka) after heavy battles in the area.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported the promotion of the Armed Forces in other areas near Staromayorsky on July 27. Russian sources on the evening of July 26 and on the morning of July 27 claimed that the Ukrainian forces hold positions in the northern outskirts of Staromayorsky and continue to promote the territory of the village from the north and northwest. Some Russian sources noted the unsuccessful attacks of the Armed Forces in the area of ​​Priuutny (15 km from the Great Novosilka) on July 26 and in the area of ​​Novodonetsky (12 km from the Great Novosilka) on July 27. A number of Russian sources, incl. Commander Oleksandr Khodakovsky, have expressed doubts that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have opportunities for keeping the harvest.

Ukrainian defenders continued counter -offensive operations in the area of ​​Zaporizhzhya region on July 27, although not as large -scale as July 26, and most likely achieved advancement: geolokoda personnel that were published on July 26 indicate that the Armed Forces succeeded (10 km from Orihov). According to Ukrainian sources, there is also a promotion in the Melitopol direction. One of the Russian sources reported that at night of the Armed Forces advanced 800-1000 meters in Rabotin.

ISW states that, most likely, the Armed Forces managed to move further in the Zaporozhye region, than it can now be visually confirmed. There are geological data that confirm that one Ukrainian armored vehicle has reached the anti -tank fortifications of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation northwest of Willow (17 km from Orikhovoy), which is 3. 5 km further than the front line, which is now outlined in ISW.

It is still unclear why only one Ukrainian armored car approached the defensive positions of the Russians without support. But the fact that it has been done without damage indicates that the Armed Forces may have achieved other successes in the area southwest of Orikhovoy, visual confirmations that are not yet.

In the morning consolidation of the Armed Forces General Staff, on July 28, it was stated that the occupation group of troops fired at almost all districts on the line of contact in the Donbass, and the forces of defense continue to restrain the offensive of Russian troops, in particular, in the Marinka area, where more than 10 settlements were fired.
