According to the head of the KMVA Sergiy Poko, it is about security training, which should last until December 28. This is necessary to ensure safety for the capital and its inhabitants. Security exercises are conducted on the territory of Kiev, which provide for the deployment of temporary checkpoints in different parts of the city. This was reported in the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) on December 26.

In the conditions of war, according to the KMVA chief Sergei Popko, the protection and security of the capital and its inhabitants is a very important task. Accordingly, it is necessary to regularly increase the level of skills, interaction and combat capability of those structures that ensure the defense of Kiev.

"So, in cooperation with the Kyiv City Military Administration, Patrol and National Police and other structural units, the Kyiv City and Defense Forces will conduct training in different parts of the capital from December 25 to December 28," the statement reads. This type of training involves the opening of temporary checkpoints, the installation of restrictive signs and elements of engineering barriers.

There is also a test of transportation, documents, checkpower protection elements, as well as certain demonstration, search and contradictory measures. The KMVA added that training has the main task and is to improve the management system, organization, and effective interaction to ensure public safety in the event of an exacerbation of the situation.
