The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive attack on Kherson: dozens of people were injured in the city, among them children (photo)

from the side of the temporarily occupied left bank of the city. As a result of the attack, a woman died, whose identity is currently being established, she received life-threatening injuries. At the same time, a shuttle bus came under fire. A 65-year-old female passenger was hospitalized with a contusion and a mine-explosive injury, another 60-year-old woman received a shrapnel wound on her shoulder and a mine-explosive injury. Doctors provided them with the necessary assistance.

Among the adults, a 48-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man were also injured, who received mine-explosive injuries and closed brain injuries. They remain under medical supervision. Children were also injured during the morning shelling. A 15-year-old girl received a concussion and a mine-explosive injury while in the apartment, and her 17-year-old sister was outside and was also injured. Both were hospitalized.

Two more adults, women aged 61 and 62, received mine-explosive injuries and concussions - they were hospitalized in nearby Bilozerka. A 58-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man received contusions and mine-explosive injuries and will be treated on an outpatient basis. Public transport was also not spared by the shelling: a trolleybus and a route bus were damaged, the driver of Khersonelectrotrans was injured. Among the passengers of the bus, one woman died, another was injured.

Around 7:30 a 16-year-old boy came under fire. He received a mine-explosive injury, a concussion and shrapnel injuries to his body and face. The boy was taken to the hospital by the "emergency team", doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance. By 2:00 p. m. , the number of injured as a result of the morning shelling of the Korabelny District had increased to 25 people.

Among them, a 31-year-old man from Kherson received a contusion, an explosive and closed brain injury, as well as shrapnel injuries; medics provided assistance on the spot. A 27-year-old woman, who was in the apartment at the time of the attack, received a contusion and a mine-explosive injury and will be treated on an outpatient basis.

Three more adults – a 65-year-old man and a woman and another Kherson woman – were treated for contusions and blast injuries, and will be treated on an outpatient basis. As a result of the shelling, multi-story and private buildings were damaged. Emergency and rescue teams are already working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks, and doctors continue to provide assistance to all victims.

We will remind that Russian propaganda last week spread the information that the Russian Armed Forces allegedly captured Kherson and that their infantry is already on the right bank of the Dnieper. The Ukrainian military refuted these reports by publishing real footage from the Ostriv (Korabel) microdistrict and the village of Sadove, where it is clear that the enemy is not there.
