It will lead to thousands of victims: Ukraine appealed to the UN and the EU through the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation

According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, in the case of blasting the Dams of the HPP, dozens of cities and villages will go under water. Ukraine appealed to the European Union and the UN to immediately create a monitoring mission and send it to the Kakhovsk hydroelectric power station, at which, according to intelligence, Russian military is preparing provocation.

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, October 21. "We turn to the UN, the EU and other organizations to organize an international monitoring mission to the Kakhovsk hydroelectric power station. International specialists together with Ukrainian staff should be immediately arrived at the station," Shmigal said. He also made arguments that forced the Ukrainian authorities to make such a requirement.

According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, it is about the preparation of Russian troops for the implementation of another terrorist attack in the territory of Kherson region. Schmigal stressed that if the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation undermine the dam of Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, it will lead to many thousands of casualties and flooding of dozens of settlements.

We will remind, earlier President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is planning an operation under a false flag in order to undermine Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. According to the President, Russian invaders have replaced not only the dam but also the units of the hydroelectric power station.

And according to the adviser to the chairman of OP Mikhail Podolyak, the Russian Federation prepares a man -made disaster to deport the disloyal to the occupiers of Ukrainians and stop the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces. Analysts from the Institute of War Study believe that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation prepare shelling of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station for further retreat from Kherson.
