"Russia has been trying and trying to get a ammunition from China.

It is also trying to get shells from other countries where Soviet weapons are left, in particular from Central Asia," Vadim Skibitsky said. Separately, a representative of GUR MOU stated that most components, namely almost 80%, came to Russia from China. In addition, in most cases, they are not even Chinese production, but from other countries from all over the world.

"Just China has not joined international sanctions, so for Russians it is not an acute problem to buy and import the necessary components through China or through other states. Many different joint ventures have been created for a week of firms, make some purchases and then disappear" , - Vadim Skibitsky summed up. In the same interview, GUR representative explained why the Russian Federation speaks of readiness for negotiations.
