In an interview with The Washington Post, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a visa ban for Russian citizens could be one of the most effective measures against Russia.
The idea of a complete ban on entry into Western countries for all Russians is finding more supporters: except Ukraine, such calls are voiced by Russian neighbors of Russia. Many of them have already closed their borders for Russian citizens, but require a collective decision from EU countries. On August 8, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said he intends to limit the rides of the Russians to Finland and other EU countries.
