American and British drones will help the Armed Forces first to record the enemy...

Ukraine will receive Scaneagle, Puma and Banshee Jet 80 battle drones: how they will help the Armed Forces (Video)

American and British drones will help the Armed Forces first to record the enemy and destroy accurate blows both day and night. Within the new military assistance package worth $ 3 billion in the US will send small Puma and Scaneagle battle drones to Ukraine. About it reports ABC News, citing current American officials. According to them, the US authorities will announce a new military aid party on August 24, when Ukraine is celebrating Independence Day and has been opposed to Russia for 6 months.

The package takes into account the training of servicemen with equipment and should provide Ukrainians with resources for several years. Money will be spent on different weapons, including the purchase of three types of battle drones: Scaneagle, Puma and, for the first time, Vampire. Earlier, the United States could first send Scaneagle drones for $ 19 million for the first time. According to the developers, the device is easy to maintain and withstands the harshest weather conditions.

The small reconnaissance drone RQ-20 Puma has been developed by Aerovironment and has been supplied by the US Army since 2008. In April, the American authorities pledged to put Puma 3 AE models that have an additional benefit. It can be started from hands, vehicles or with a catapult intelligence for day and night, as well as fire adjustment.

For this purpose, the UAV is equipped with an electro-optic chamber with a 50-fold zoom, a lighting sensor and a laser pointer, all information is transmitted by a reliable protected channel. According to the Janes Portal, the UK's project is testing reconnaissance drones with a fixed wing that could be launched from ships. The Navy command reported that the royal fleet will be equipped with four modern UAVs with land stations.

One of the candidates is the Banshee Jet 80+ jet drone from Qinetiq, which was tested in September 2021 and continued to be tested last July. On the eve of Pentagon, he showed the departure of a new batch of weapons to Ukraine. Armaments and ammunition containers are loaded around the clock into aircraft on the basis of McGuyr-Dick-Lyuketers in New Jersey. They reported that the US intends to equip its army with weapons against drones.
