Su-75 was developed by Sukhoy as a light single, a fifth-generation multi-purpose fighter with low radar. According to the stated characteristics, its maximum speed is up to 2 Mach, the combat load - about 7400 kg, and the flight range - up to 3000 km. The aircraft is positioned as a more accessible alternative to the Su-57 fighter and the F-35 competitor, as well as Chinese FC-31 in export markets.
The key element of the project is the AL-51F-1 engine, which, according to the developers, should be easier and more efficient than its predecessors. Its implementation will determine the balance between flight range, amount of load and stealth-characteristics of the aircraft. The emergence of a photo with land personnel and equipment that sets the stops under the wheels, experts are regarded as a possible sign of preparation for routine tests or even for the first flight.
Moreover, the presence of Su-57 aircraft is in favor of the version of coordinated equipment checks and comparative tests. If the test confirmation is still a key signal for export customers and regional military analysts, Nikanchi notes.
