This was announced on October 24 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "The situation on the front remains difficult. The enemy, using its advantage in live strength and equipment, continuously attacks our positions. Ukrainian defenders restlessly restrain the pressure of the invaders and cause significant losses to the enemy," - said in an operational summary. Last day, Russian troops inflicted one rocket strike, 89 air strikes and used more than 1,500 Kamikadze drones.

The enemy also dropped 154 corrected aircraft (CA) and performed more than 4,000 shellings, including 86 from rocket launchers. Among the most affected settlements are Kupyansk, Antonivka, Lyman and Pokrovsk. The largest number of assault actions by the Russians were performed in Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions. The highest concentration of hostile forces was recorded in the area of ​​the settlement of Selidovo. In total, 38 invaders' attacks were reflected in the Pokrovsky Defense force.

Under Kurakhov, Ukrainian fighters repelled 34 attacks of the enemy, who tried to advance near Antonivka, Novodmitrovka, Novoselidovka, Konstantinovka, Zoryan, sharp and far. Judging by the mapping data of the deepstate monitoring resource, Russian troops occupied the eastern and southern part of Selidovoy, the enemy's promotion on the northern flank by the occupied Marinovka was also recorded.

According to ISW analysts, Selidovo was not the prompt goal of the Russian army, but there the enemy concentrated a large group of troops, which can attack Pokrovsk from the south. "Russian attacks in Selidovoy, as well as territorial conquests south and north of the city may soon lead to the fact that Ukrainian troops will be forced to retreat from the area, so as not to be trapped.
