The Russian military planned to start the offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region on May 15-16. The army of the Russian Federation wanted to bring troops to the village of Borshcheva to fire Kharkiv from artillery. The onset of the Russian Federation in the north wanted to partially surround Kharkiv and put pressure on Ukrainian fighters in the east of the Pechenezh Reservoir. The Economist spoke about the enemy's military plans.

Journalists received military plans and noted that the enemy planned to start an offensive in the Kharkiv region on May 15-16, but the operation was postponed for unknown reasons. According to the plan, within 72 hours the enemy planned to bring his troops to the village of Borshchev for artillery shelling of Kharkiv. However, the offensive was stopped by a rapidly relocated 92nd brigade, which managed to discard the Russians 10 kilometers from its original purpose.

In the Vovchansk direction, the Russians planned to reach the Pechenez reservoir. The publication noted that the pace of Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region has slowed down. We will remind, on May 20 a spokesman for the operational-strategic group of Khortytsa troops Nazar Voloshin stated that the Ukrainian military managed to stabilize the situation in the Volchansk district in Kharkiv region.
