The Russian Federation improves its FPV-pions: what is the danger to the defense forces

Ukrainian drone operators can improve their ability to interfere with a long range. Instead, the Russians are likely to experiment and implement innovations to adapt to this, the ISW analysts have told. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation improve the ability to use FPV-auctions to intercept Ukrainian UAV remote miners and drones. Analytics of the Institute of War Study in the daily report on July 22.

"It seems that Russian troops are improving their ability to use first person drones (FPV) to intercept Ukrainian drones and drones and bombers," the message reads. On July 22, Russian troops showed how FPV was intercepting the Ukrainian drone "Baba Yaga" during a flight on an uncertain front area. Analysts believe that occupiers improve their ability to use FPV to intercept other UAVs at a tactical level.

In particular, these are evidenced by some cases of intercepting Russian FPV heavier, larger and slower Ukrainian reconnaissance drones that have a larger radius of action and can dump ammunition. Recently, ISW analysts have evaluated that Ukrainian drone operators are likely to improve their ability to interfere with a long -range girded UAV.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky of July 22, the forces of defense are mastering new methods of destruction of enemy reconnaissance UAVs only with the help of FPV-oules and HR. "Russian troops are likely to experiment and implement innovations to adapt to the successful use of Ukrainian drones against Russian FPV and some drones of a greater radius of action," analytics added.
