General Matsey Klysh, Operational Commander of the Armed Forces of Poland, reported that both violations of airspace were under full control of national forces and state defense units. In addition, General Weslav Kukul, Chief of General Staff, added that the drones left the Polish territory without any consequences. Poland is currently in a state of increased readiness after the 2022 incident, when a casual Ukrainian rocket hit the village in the south and has caused the death of two people.
The publication also noted that the Polish army did not provide accurate information about the drones. The incident probably took place against the backdrop of a massive blow to Russia in Ukraine, when more than 500 drones and dozens of rockets attacked energy and transport infrastructure, injuring four railways. Earlier, Focus wrote that at the end of August on the corn field in the village of Osiki, Lublin County, in the east of Poland, fell and exploded.
The incident was damaged by three buildings, but people were not injured. According to preliminary data, it could be a shot-shaped drone with a smaller combat unit. In addition, on August 28, it was reported that the F-16 fighter was in the Polish Radom during the preparation for Radom Air Show. Subsequently, it became known that during the accident the pilot and the commander of the Pilot Group of the Air Force of Poland "Tigra" (Tiger Demo Team) Macey Krakowak.
