Increasing pressure on Russia, security guarantees and entry of Ukraine to the European Union: a meeting with the French delegation took place in the Presidential Office

Igor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, met with European Minister of European Affairs under the Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of France Benjamen Addad. Igor Zhovkva thanked France and Personally Benjamena Addad for comprehensive support of Ukraine.

The key attention is to prepare for the level of leaders in New York during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, in particular to the Fifth Summit of the International Crimean Platform and a meeting of the International Coalition for the return of Ukrainian children under the co-ordination of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Igor Zhovkva and Benjamed Addad coordinated further steps in continuing the meeting of the Coalition, which took place in Paris on September 4.

In particular, cooperation with partners, especially with the United States, was discussed, to increase sanction pressure on Russia and the finalization of key safety guarantees to achieve real peace. The deputy head of the Presidential Office stressed that it is important to introduce a full range of rigid sanctions against Russia, in particular in the preparation of the 19th EU sanctions package.
