The Russian court found the military guilty of the murder of man in Mariupol in April 2022. He will serve in the correctional colony of the strict regime. In Russia, Ukrainian military Alexander Kovalik was accused of killing a civilian car and appointed 25 years in prison. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The Russian investigation says that the incident was examined in the case and witnesses were questioned. In particular, 9 examinations and two investigative experiments were allegedly conducted. The court of the Russian Federation acknowledged that the evidence collected was sufficient to make a sentence of Alexander Kovalik. He was therefore appointed 25 years in prison in a strict regime correctional colony.
