According to Chancellor, Ukraine shows the highest desire for peace. However, as the German politician emphasizes, after two years of hostilities it is necessary to admit that there is no simple solution in this situation. "In any case, Putin can put an end to this war at any time," Solz emphasized. He stressed that the termination of defense from Ukraine would mean the cessation of its existence.
"Therefore, our joint signal of Russia should be: we will support Ukraine, which is fighting for its survival and preservation of sovereignty as much as it is needed," the chancellor said. The head of the German government emphasized the need to send a signal of confident support from Europe to Ukraine. It should be reminded that in the Bundestag on November 17 again did not support the supply of German missiles Taurus for the Armed Forces.
