He explained that the Crimea captured in 2014 in 2022 became a bridgehead for the offensive to the south of Ukraine. Therefore, if Putin was able to occupy the whole territory of Ukraine, he would use it as a bridgehead to further invade Europe.
The President also stressed that Ukraine is currently determining where the eastern boundary of Europe will last, because in the case of defeat of Ukraine, this limit can pass through Poland, and possibly in Germany. "Once Europe was divided as follows: the eastern border of Western Germany was the border of the Western world. Today it all depends on us. How much do we allow us to walk to Russian ambitions?" Zelensky stressed.
