President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has informed that a large number of components in the shock drones of the Russian Federation are of foreign origin. He called on EU leaders to impose new sanctions against Russia. On the night of October 25, Russian invaders could attempt to attack Droam-Kamikadze type Shahd Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in a daily address to the nation.

The head of state noted that in the city of Slavuta in Khmelnytskyi the fixation of the damage caused from the explosion of Russian UAVs is ongoing. The drones were knocked down. As a result of the attack, doors, roofs of buildings, knocked out windows are damaged. Two dozen local residents are injured. "Probably the target for these drones was the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Station," he explained. Volodymyr Zelenskyy drew the attention of the world to whom the Ukrainians have to defend themselves.

He called the Russian attack a reminder of how important it is to strengthen the Ukrainian air defense and how dangerous it is when the Russian Federation can bypass world sanctions. This is a signal for Ukraine's partners. The President explained that a large number of components in shock drones used by Russian troops are of foreign origin. He expects an effective reaction from EU leaders.

"The effectiveness of sanctions against Russia is literally protection against terrorism," Zelensky explained. CEO Raphael Grosssey said the nuclear security situation in Ukraine is extremely unstable. Powerful explosions near the Khmelnytsky NPP, according to him, did not affect the work of a strategic object. According to him, "next time we may not be so lucky. " On the night of October 25, Russian invaders attacked the Khmelnytsky region with drones.

The explosive wave damaged non -residential premises, dwellings and vehicles. The administration of the city of Slavuta in the Khmelnytsky region confirmed the damage. The Ministry of Energy stated that almost 2,000 people remained without light. As a result of the shelling, the windows were knocked out at once in two buildings-administrative, household and laboratory. Energy should soon start renewable work.
