Putin will have to be discussed with fashion for the return of Indians who are fighting in Ukraine - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India

At least four citizens of India were killed during the war, which prompted the country's government to call for the immediate cessation of such recruitment. Next week, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Moscow on an official visit. And it is expected that fashion will raise the issue of returning the citizens of India, who have been admired in service in the Russian army. This was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Vini Quatr, writes Reuters.

Over the past few months, several cases have been identified when the Indians have been lured to Russia by promises of high -paying work or education, and eventually they fought against Ukraine. In May, the Indian police arrested four people related to the trafficking in human trafficking. Moscow has not yet reacted to repeated Reuters' requests to comment on the situation.

Currently, at least four citizens of India have been killed during the war, which prompted the Fashion Government to call for immediate cessation of such recruitment and the fastest release of Indians who are fighting in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to India estimates, 30 to 40 of its citizens can already serve in the army, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vinya Quatr at a briefing for the media on Friday.

"Every effort has been made to make the citizens of India get back as soon as possible," he said, adding that 10 Indians had already returned home. From the moment of invasion of Russia in Ukraine in February 2022, thousands of people have been killed on both sides, but India, which has maintained close relations with Moscow for decades, refused to condemn Russia for the war, instead called for termination of conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.

Other countries in South Asia have already warned their citizens from temptation to join the Russian army. Sri Lanka has intensified control to stop the deception of her citizens. The government states that dozens of people who want to return home are already involved in the war against Ukraine. Similarly, in May, Nepal stated that several dozen of his citizens were illegally recruited into the Russian army, estimated at least 200 of them serving on the front, and about 100 are considered missing.
