The first blow fell on a critical infrastructure object in the center of the city, the second on the TV tower, the photo of which after the attack went viral. The television tower in Chernihiv is a tower made of steel pipe structures. It was built according to the typical shortened project 3803-KM at the end of the 50s of the last century and was officially put into operation on December 24, 1959. The height of the building is 148 meters (height above sea level is 127 meters).
