Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that after the end of Russia, the West will become weaker than Ukraine. In an interview with Tichys Einblick, he stated that the Western countries would not be able to win the war in Ukraine by military means, while sanctions against Russia allegedly did not destabilize it. At the same time, in his opinion, the losses from the restrictions introduced against the aggressor country for Europe are "huge".
